Canon Peter Geoffrey’, Who Was Who, A & C Black, an imprint of Bloomsbury Publishing plc, 1920–2008; online edn, Oxford University Press, Dec 2012 ; online edn, Nov 2012 (accessed 12 Oct 2013 )〕 He was educated at Charterhouse and The Queen's College, Oxford.〔(Mundus )〕 After a period of study at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford he was ordained Deacon in 1935〔Crockford's Clerical Directory 1947-48 pp129/130: London, OUP, 1947〕 and Priest in 1937. He was a CMS Missionary in Kenya from 1935 to 1958; and Archdeacon of Mombassa from 1953 until 1958. Returning to England he was Vicar of High Melton and Archdeacon of Doncaster from 1967 to 1967.
